Filigree Tree of Life Pendant

Lovingly hand made from solid sterling silver (925) wire and sheet, this Tree of Life pendant is a a symbol of life, hope, and the connectivity of all.

The Tree of Life transcends religion and culture. All over the world, trees have and still do represent important ideals.

This particular pendant includes 1mm green and red CZ stones tube set throughout the filigree leaves. Filgree is an ancient technique used in many cultures. Two pieces of fine wire, 26 guage in this case, is twisted until it almost becomes one. This wire is then cut and then shaped into recurring patterns. The filigree shapes are then soldered into place. Tiny balls of silver are added to the design to add to the aesthetic and to reinforce the structure. 

Though it looks very delicate, you will be surprised by just how sturdy this pendant it. It will easily hold up well to every day wear.
